Tata-owned Air India (AI) has introduced a mandatory meal pre-booking policy across all routes. The airline will serve halal or ‘Muslim meals’ (MOML) only on specific routes like Saudi Arabia and Haj pilgrimage flights, a move linked to its ongoing merger with Vistara.
