Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has granted Letters of Intent to five foreign universities, including institutions from the US, UK, Australia, and Italy, to establish branch campuses in Mumbai. This initiative, known as Mumbai EduCity, aims to create a global education hub, fostering innovation, research, and entrepreneurship while aligning with the National Education Policy 2020’s goals for internationalization.
