The Supreme Court has made asset details of its judges public. Twenty-one out of thirty-three judges, including the Chief Justice, have declared their wealth. This information is available on the court’s website. This move follows the ‘cash-at-kothi’ scandal. Judges will now declare assets upon assuming office and significant acquisitions to the CJI. These declarations will be mandatorily published online.
