AAP MLA Amanatullah Khan has approached the Supreme Court challenging the Waqf (Amendment) Bill 2025, claiming it limits religious and cultural autonomy of Muslims. Despite criticism from the INDIA bloc, the bill, aiming for secular and transparent Waqf administration, was passed by Parliament with significant majorities in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
