External affairs minister S Jaishankar emphasized the growing importance of the India-EU relationship as a stabilizing force in a volatile and uncertain world. Speaking at the IIC-Bruegel annual seminar, Jaishankar highlighted the selective application of principles in global conflicts, particularly regarding democracy and military rule. He discussed the need to refresh economic and political frameworks, noting the era of multipolarity and rebalancing. He affirmed that the India-EU relationship is vital, particularly in defense, security, and technology cooperation.
