UNGA president Philemon Yang will visit India for four days at the invitation of external affairs minister S Jaishankar. They will discuss key multilateral and regional issues, and Yang will also meet President Droupadi Murmu. He will travel to Bengaluru to visit Infosys and IISc, engaging with experts on India’s innovations. Yang, former Cameroonian PM, assumed office in September 2023. Jaishankar previously assured India’s support for his vision on unity, peace, and sustainability.
