The Union Minister informed Rajya Sabha that 71,231 new posts were created in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles over the past five years. However, 100,204 vacancies still exist across various forces. The government is actively working to fill these vacancies through expedited recruitment processes, including lowering cut-off marks for certain positions.
