AIMIM is considering fielding jailed Shahrukh Pathan, an accused in the 2020 Delhi riots, in the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, though no final decision has been made. The party has already fielded Tahir Hussain, another 2020 riots accused, from Mustafabad. AIMIM plans to contest 12 seats, with elections scheduled for February next year.
