The Supreme Court, in granting bail to TMC youth wing functionary Kuntal Ghosh in a teacher recruitment scam, imposed the condition that he cannot hold any public post. The court noted that the investigation into the large-scale scam would take considerable time, and hence bail was justified with stringent conditions to ensure he does not influence the process.
